Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Vinodin Intelligent Solutions LLC ("Provost Prep," "we," "us") governing your use of provostprep.com and the Provost Prep study app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, making a purchase, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Provost Prep provides self-paced exam preparation materials — audio lessons, practice questions, exam simulations, and an AI study tutor — for financial and insurance licensing exams. Content coverage varies by exam and is described on our website at the time of purchase.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service and at least 18 to make a purchase. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal: one account per student. Sharing login credentials or reselling access is not permitted.
3. Purchases, access period, and refunds
- One-time purchase. Each study package is a one-time payment, not a subscription. There are no recurring charges or hidden fees.
- Access period. Securities exam packages (SIE, Series 7, Series 65, Series 6, Series 63) include lifetime access — we're with you until you pass, with no expiration date. State insurance packages (Life & Health) include 6 months of access to the package you bought, beginning at the time of purchase.
- Payment. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are in U.S. dollars and are those displayed at checkout.
- 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied for any reason, email support@provostprep.com within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you in full — no questions asked.
- Life & Health Practice-Exam Guarantee. Learn and License tier purchases of Life & Health packages include a conditional pass guarantee, separate from the 30-day satisfaction guarantee above. You qualify if all of the following are true: you scored 80% or higher on our full timed practice exam simulator (not a topic quiz) within your access window, with the qualifying attempt logged by the platform; you sat your actual state licensing exam within 3 calendar days of that qualifying score, and it was your first attempt at the real exam; and you purchased the Learn or License tier (the Listen tier is not eligible). To claim, submit your official exam score report to support@provostprep.com within 30 days of your exam date. Upon a verified eligible claim, we refund the original purchase price of the qualifying tier to your original payment method, excluding add-on purchases and sales tax where separately collected. One claim per person, per exam, per lifetime. In-app purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play follow Apple's and Google's own refund policies instead. This is a refund of tuition — it is not, and must never be read as, a guarantee that you will pass; no prep course can guarantee a passing score.
4. License to use the content
When you purchase a package, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your own exam preparation during your access period. All content — audio episodes, question banks, explanations, and software — is owned by Vinodin Intelligent Solutions LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may not copy, record, redistribute, scrape, publish, or create derivative works from the content, or use it to train or develop any competing product or machine-learning model.
5. AI tutor
The AI tutor is an automated study aid. It is designed to explain concepts from your exam's curriculum, but like all AI systems it can occasionally make mistakes. Always verify important facts against the lesson content and official exam outlines. The AI tutor does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and nothing in the Service should be treated as such.
6. No guarantee of exam results
We work hard to prepare you well, and we stand behind our refund policy — but no prep course can guarantee a passing score. Exam outcomes depend on many factors, including your own study effort. Purchase of a study package does not guarantee that you will pass any exam.
7. Independence disclaimer
Provost Prep is an independent study platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FINRA, NASAA, any state insurance department, any university or institution, or any exam administrator. All trademarks, including exam names, belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the exams our materials cover.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to: share or resell account access; systematically download, scrape, or extract content or question banks; attempt to bypass security or access controls; use the Service to infringe others' rights; or interfere with the operation of the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms; if we terminate your account for a violation, no refund is owed beyond the guarantee in Section 3.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information. We never sell your personal data.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, though we work to keep it both.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vinodin Intelligent Solutions LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
12. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at support@provostprep.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
